NeuBird AI raised $19.3 million in an oversubscribed funding round, led by Xora Innovation. The company will use the new funds to accelerate innovation on its Falcon engine, expand global go to market efforts, and broaden accessibility for DevOps, SRE, platform, and IT operations teams.
NeuBird AI closed an oversubscribed $19.3 million funding round, led by new investor Xora Innovation with participation from existing backers Mayfield, StepStone Group, Prosperity7 Ventures, and M12, Microsoft’s venture fund. This brings the company’s total capital raised to more than $63 million since its 2024 inception, following a $22 million seed led by Mayfield in 2024 and a $22.5 million seed extension led by M12 in December 2024.
The round reflects accelerating momentum in agentic AI for enterprise production operations. NeuBird’s core offering is its production ops agent, powered by the newly announced NeuBird AI Falcon engine, which functions as an always-on, autonomous SRE teammate. It ingests telemetry from any hybrid or multi cloud stack, correlates signals in real time, delivers root-cause analysis, and executes remediation without human intervention. Customers report resolving over 1 million alerts since general availability in December 2024, saving more than $2 million in engineering hours, and achieving up to 90% reductions in mean time to resolution.

Market demand is driven by structural pain in modern IT operations. According to the 2026 State of Production Reliability and AI Adoption Report, engineering teams spend an average of 40% of their time managing incidents rather than building new capabilities. Alert fatigue and insufficient automation contribute to burnout, with nearly 80% of companies reporting that up to half of on-call engineers experience incident related symptoms. NeuBird directly addresses this by shifting from reactive patching to proactive prevention, predictive risk detection, and continuous infrastructure optimization, freeing skilled talent to focus on innovation.
Proceeds will accelerate product innovation around the Falcon engine, expand global go to market execution, and broaden accessibility for DevOps, SRE, platform, and IT operations teams. The company has already secured preferred access to enterprise customer networks through its selection into the 2025 AWS Generative AI Accelerator and the Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program (backed by M12). These partnerships, combined with the AWS Generative AI Competency awards in both Applications and Infrastructure & Data categories, provide distribution leverage and technical validation at hyperscale.
Investor conviction is evident in the repeat participation and Xora’s lead role. Phil Inagaki, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Xora Innovation, highlighted NeuBird’s best in class accuracy, speed, and efficiency across complex enterprise systems, noting the founders’ track record building and scaling three prior enterprise infrastructure companies. Returning investors echoed this: Navin Chaddha of Mayfield cited strong customer ROI and the reimagining of production operations; Michelle Gonzalez of M12 emphasized real time reliability at scale; StepStone’s John Avrett pointed to rapid execution from POC to production deployments; and Prosperity7’s Abhishek Shukla stressed domain depth in reclaiming engineering time.

Leadership reinforces execution strength. Co-founders Goutham (Gou) Rao (CEO) and Vinod Jayaraman (CTO) are serial entrepreneurs whose last venture, Portworx, was acquired by Pure Storage for $370 million after earlier exits to Dell and Citrix. In 2025 the company appointed Venkat Ramakrishnan, formerly of Everpure and a key leader in scaling Portworx, as President and COO to drive commercial acceleration.
The round solidifies NeuBird’s position at the intersection of agentic AI and critical infrastructure reliability. By delivering measurable ROI in environments where downtime costs millions and engineering bandwidth is scarce, NeuBird is converting the AI hype cycle into tangible operational leverage for enterprises. The combination of proven founders, enterprise grade traction, hyperscaler partnerships, and fresh capital from a strategic new lead investor positions the company to capture a growing share of the expanding market for autonomous production operations.
